A wisp of the Herbology scent drifted forth, instantly transporting one from the dust laden shelves of the ancient library to the warm, damp air of the greenhouse. The aroma spoke first of the earth itself, a rich, grounding foundation of earthy vetiver, redolent of freshly turned soil and ancient, sprawling vines. Woven through this was the bright, almost ethereal powderiness of white orris root, clean and comforting as a newly cleaned potion vial.

But this was no simple posy; a dangerous elegance lurked beneath the wholesome top notes. A sharp, thrilling current of deadly nightshade laced the air, suggesting dark magic and forbidden knowledge, a whisper of peril that prickled the senses. Binding these divergent elements together was the unmistakable, root-y intensity of mandragora, a scent so potent and vital one could almost hear the faint, high-pitched wail of the seedlings, a lively, slightly unsettling heart to the captivating, complex fragrance. It was a scent both scholarly and sinister, a true olfactory lesson in magical botany.

Materials and care

We like to work in small batches to give care and attention to each fragrance profile we create. Our candles are hand-poured from all-natural soy and coconut wax blends harvested in the USA. Our candles are scented with clean burning fragrance oils. Our wicks are eco-friendly and clean burning.

Ambiance Enhancing:
Our uniquely blended scent profiles create captivating fragrance experiences without overpowering a space.

Burn Time:
Combining both beauty and value, our 8oz candles burn up to 50 hours, while our 4oz candles burn up to 25 hours. Our mini 2oz sampler candles have a burn time of approx. 8-10 hours. Be sure to never leave any size candle burning for more than two to three hours at a time.

Candle Safety:
Our metal-free, lead-free wicks allow for safe, even-burning flames. Our glass vessels are thicker and more durable. For your safest and best candle burning experience, be sure to never leave any candle burning unattended, and never burn your candles for more than two to three hours at a time.
