Every great campaign begins in a dimly lit tavern, over a map stained with ink and memories. Perch and Cove was born from that exact same hunger for adventure. The name itself stems from the spirit of exploration—the sweeping journey an adventurer takes when traveling from the high, shadowed canopies of a deep fantasy forest down to the mysterious, mist-shrouded shores of an uncharted ocean cove.

Founded by a lifelong artist, designer, and unrepentant fantasy book and film nerd, this studio was built to solve a problem: the world was full of boring, generic candles that lacked a soul. Alongside my background in mixed-media design, I have always held a deep penchant for richly Gothic ambiance and environs, driven by a lifelong love of classic Gothic fiction like Poe and the Brontës. This brooding aesthetic is deeply intertwined with my love for Nordic and Celtic lore—the sweeping sagas of ancient chieftains, untamed northern elements, and the mystical, moss-draped green realms of old world folklore. One evening, staring at a shelf of flat, uninspired scents, the truth hit me like a rogue's dagger: our tabletop worlds deserve better than ordinary wax.

I do not just pour wax; I spend months meticulously weaving layered scent profiles that tell a chronological story as they burn—from the sharp ozone of a gathering storm to the deep, lingering musk of weathered leather saddles, ancient runes, and old-growth pine.
