    • Your Candle's Journey

      Our candles and scents are made-to-order in our Southern Maine candle studio by artisans who care about scent, stories, and experiences. And that's why we say you'll enjoy a "scent-story" experience when you light up a Perch and Cove candle!

      As we hand pour each candle, during the busier holiday season your order may take up to 5 business days to process (before shipping) but it's well worth the wait as what you'll receive is anything but basic and ordinary.

      You’ll receive email updates as your order moves through production, and if you have any questions along the way, we’re just a message away.

    • Beyond the Vessel

      Our candle vessels are both beautiful and reusable:

      • Thick Glass Jars: Come with either bamboo lids, or metal twist on lids depending on the size, scent, and collection.
      • 10oz and 14oz Tins: Come with matching tin twist on lids.
      • Sample Tins: Compact, travel-ready, and ideal for discovering new scents or gifting to friends.

      Some ideas for reusing your candle vessels are:

      • Small flower vases
      • Teas and Spices
      • Office supplies like paperclips, pencils, rubber bands
      • Bathroom vanity organizing

    Instructions for the Prudent Maintenance of Your Candle

    • 1) For the first burn, let the candle burn for up to 3 hours depending on the size of your candle, or until the melt "pool" reaches the edge. This prevents the candle from tunneling. Natural coco-soy candles have memory.

      2) Always trim your cotton wicks to 1/4 inch, and your wooden wicks to 1/8 inch before lighting your candle.

      If your wick is too long, the flame will be too big and can become a fire hazard. Nail clippers work great for trimming wooden wicks.

      3) Clear any debris from your candle wax before burning, including any soot build-up on the wick. This will help your candle to last longer and burn cleaner.

      4.) Never burn your candle near a draft or near anything flammable.

      5) Always place your candle on a non-flammable surface. All candle vessels will get hot. Be sure to place your candle on a proper candle holder or heat-safe surface that will not burn or ignite. 

      6) Never leave a candle unattended.

      7) Sit back, and enjoy your premium blended candles.
